Fabrice Le Saché is founder and executive chairman of Paris based Aera Group SAS. The company’s mission is to accelerate climate transition in Africa by providing financial value to CO2 emissions reduction. Aera Group manages, owns and trades the largest African carbon credits portfolio (50 projects in 20 countries equivalent to 5 Mt of CO2 emissions avoided/year). Established in 2015, Aera Group undertakes its sixth year of operation and double turnover every year. The company announced to have passed 11 MEURturnover for the first 9 months of 2021.In the last 5 years, Fabrice structured forward and spot transactions for an equivalent of +100 MT CO2 with the largest commodity trading houses, banks, financial intermediaries, utilities, industries and corporates.Fabrice Le Saché is also Vice-Chair and spokesperson of the French Employer Business Union (MEDEF, www.medef.fr). He is also Board Member of Medef International (www.medefinternational.fr) and Chair of the SMEs & Entrepreneurship Commission of Business Europe, the largest employer union in Europe
