Florence Palla holds a PhD in ecology (UPMC-Paris 6). She focused her studies on botany, then on the environment and specialised in the field of nature conservation when she started working in the field in the Dja Biosphere Reserve-World Heritage Sitein Cameroon. For ten years, Florence contributed to the establishment of the Central African Protected Areas Network(RAPAC), which allowed her to gain regional and international experience on the challenges of biodiversity conservation. She has coordinated numerous regional thematic studies on the monitoring and evaluation of the state of Central Africa's natural ecosystems.
Since 2015, she has been coordinating the regional project (RIOFAC) to support the Central AfricanForest Observatory (OFAC/COMIFAC), including the observation of protected areas.
