Theodore Trefon is a researcher at the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Belgium and teaches environmental governance at ERAIFT/Kinshasa. He is the author of the book Congo's Environmental Paradox, published by Zed Books in London in 2016. The culture and economics of bush meat and the management of protected areas are the focus of his current research.
